debis IT Services North America, Inc., Services by DaimlerChrysler, 1997-2000
Senior Vice President and co-founder (with CEO) for the North American subsidiary of debis Systemhaus, a company providing a broad range of IT services including consulting, systems integration and outsourcing. Responsible for service development, marketing, and solution design. Previous assignments have included establishing the outsourcing business and starting the consulting business.

Realtors Information Network, Inc.; realtor.com, 1995-1996
Senior Vice President of Technology and Network Operations, with responsibility for becoming an application services provider (ASP) for REALTORSâ, their prospects and customers. Responsibilities included the creation of an Internet Web site through partnering arrangements that offers consumers access to classified property advertisements involving the use of a patented search capability; this site received recognition in 1996 from the Computerworld Smithsonian Awards program as a leading example of innovative technology.

Comdisco, Inc., 1988-1994
Senior Vice President of Business and Product Development for Comdisco Disaster Recovery Services, Inc., the largest international firm in this fast growing service market during a period when revenues grew from $54 million to $230 million. Developed a new business recovery service offering which was critical to the continuous operation of two banks following the bombing of the World Trade Center in New York.

Strategic Planning Associates, Inc., 1986-1988
Senior Information Technologist with this international general management consulting firm (now incorporated within Mercer Management Consulting), reporting to the Executive Vice President responsible for information technology. The role was to develop Operations and Information Technology strategies, which fit within broader business strategies, and to build sufficient support and understanding within the client organization to ensure implementation.

Harris Trust and Savings Bank, 1980-1986
Vice President, Division Administrator, of the Systems Planing Division, reporting to the Executive Vice President of the Information Systems Group. The position and Division were newly created to address the Bank's need to do a major overhaul of its information systems and to create a much tighter linkage with business management.

IBM Corporation, 1963-1980
Held a variety of positions in market support management, quota sales and product marketing. Roles included design of state-of-the-art systems for security exchanges in Chicago, product management of the initial automated teller machine, leadership in electronic banking technologies and start-up of a worldwide telecommunications technical education function.
